    Beware: Fake Naked 3 Palettes!

I should have posted this a long time ago, but I've been trying to get this legally sorted out. I hate to see a brand as good-quality and reputable as Urban Decay get treated like this. No company deserves to have their name connected to these horrendous products.

The colours are so different to the original, it's actually crazy how they're even trying to sell this, but they are!
I purchased this for 25 euro which is half the selling price of the real palette's retail price in Ireland.
Of course, at this price I knew something had to be up.

And once I got to opening it, sever disappointment (but lack of any surprise) ensued.
The eye-shadows, not only were terrible colours, but they were chalky, sheer and even at that, the pans were only half full! The brush was cheap, synthetic and quite a different colour to the real urban decay brush (see comparison) and also the tin case was not-so-much tin are more so textured plastic.

Think you've bought a fake Naked 3 pallette?
Here's what you should look for:
    • Look up a blog review of the original palette, compair the shadow colours on the blog post to yours. Are there substantially different? Then you've got a fake!
    • Does the tin case feel a lot cheaper and more flimsy than you'd expect from Urban Decay? Then you've got a fake!
    • Look closely at the shadow pans, are they half full or full to the brim? Urban Decay are good with filling their shadow pans right to the brim. If yours are only half full, you've got a fake!
    • Swatch the shadows, do they seem opaque, creamy and awe-inducing or do they seem chalky, cheap and sheer? If it's the second, then you've got a fake!
Warning: if you think you've got a fake palette, DO NOT USE THE PRODUCTS.
A swatch on the back of your hand or on your wrist should be okay, but avoid eyes at all costs.
I was silly and tested mine just to see the extent of how blatantly terrible they were. This resulted in my eyes becoming very watery, irritated and red. They also dried-out, reddened and irritated the areas of skin in which they were applied.
Just don't use it. Take it back. Get your money back. You are legally obligated to a refund.

I hope none of you get caught.
And if you have managed to get your own Naked 3, enjoy!
